Mellissah Smith is the Chairperson of The World Incubator, a not-for-profit business incubator in rural Queensland. Currently the incubator is situation in Wherry House in Charters Towers, North Queensland and houses 10 startups. My heart breaks when I pick up the newspaper only to find another story about baby formula that is potentially harmful to babies and infants produced in this particular case by big multinationals Nestle and PharmaCare.

The Age newspaper, a Fairfax editorial reported on Sunday that Nestle's NAN HA 1 Gold and Nature's Way Kids Smart 1, had tiny, needle-like nanoparticles that are potentially toxic in its formula.
The number 8 is my lucky number, and yet again it proved to be exactly that with the North Queensland Entrepreneurs Conference in Townsville on November 8, 2016. 

I had three days to play with dates that could fit into Jack Cowin, the keynote speakers diary, so I chose the date that is "lucky". 

From the moment I woke up at 4am in the morning through to the end of the day, when I lay my head on the pillow of The Ville in Townsville, luck went my way.
